Caleb

Caleb has developed so much since he was born. He weighed seven pounds and nine ounces; he was twenty one inches long when we brought him home.

After about three months old, he started to cackle and smile a lot. He also started to hold his head up really well. He kicked a lot and very strongly.

Then, at about five months he started to turn over. He started eating baby food. At six months he started sitting up by himself. Caleb also knew his name.

Next, at seven months he started crawling. He learned how to say “dad” and some others, but “dad” was the only one he could really say well. Also he learned how to stand while holding on to something.

Finally, at eight months he can walk while holding on to things like the side of the couch or a chair. He can eat some finger foods like french fries or cheesy puffs. He is learning the word “no” because he thinks he has to get into everything. He learned to scream; that’s one of his favorite things to do. He also has two teeth. The doctor said that,”he is above average on weight and height.” He is twenty two pounds and twenty nine and a half inches tall.

When most people see him they think he is about one year or older. He is a really big baby, but he is mommy’s baby.
